In a time of political transition, increasing digitalization and rapid urbanization, Niels Righolt, guest speaker for the Arts Management Lecture Series at AUR, will touch on some of the most significant tendencies in Scandinavian and European cultural politics, trends in institutional governance and artistic leadership and the potential impact of reframing a wider cultural democracy.

Niels Righolt is the Managing Director at CKI. The Danish Centre for Arts & Interculture (CKI) is a national knowledge, competence and communication centre for international culture, cultural diversity, and audience engagement and development. Prior to his engagement at CKI, Niels Righolt worked as as Managing and Artistic Director of the Dunkers Arts Centre in Helsingborg, Sweden, as Chief Curator and producer for Møstings Hus & Byggeriets Hus, Copenhagen and as co-founder of the intercultural magazine and communication bureau Cultures. Niels Righolt is a board member of the Danish contemporary dance scene Dansehallerne in Copenhagen and the Audience Europe Network.
