1. A personal statement of between 500-750 words on the following:
"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment" – Ralph Waldo Emerson.  
What is something about you that you would never change?

2. One academic recommendation from the principal, a guidance counselor, teacher or professor
(completed on previous screen)

3. College transcripts 

4. Copy of a valid passport

Applicants whose native language is not English, (unless they have been attending an English speaking school/university for at least 3 years) must submit an official TOEFL score, IELTS English language proficiency exam results or DUOLINGO English Test Results

Graduate students

1. A scan of the student's passport photo page or European Union ID

2. A motivation letter( minimum 700 words) that explains your career goals and interest in the relevant M.A. program

3. Official university transcripts from all institutions attended. Applicants must have earned a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or equivalent 

4. Curriculum Vitae

5. At least one academic letter of recommendation (from an academic advisor or professor at the undergraduate/graduate level) , and one professional letter of recommendation (applicants in the workforce for more than 5 years may submit two professional letters of recommendations.

6. For students whose previous degrees were conducted in a language other than English: Official TOEFL results (minimum scores Paper-based : 637, Computer based : 270 and Internet based: 110) or IELTS Academic (minimum score7) or DuoLingo English Test results (minimum score 130)

Undergraduate students: A note on Transcripts
To successfully complete your application, we require official transcripts for all college or university work undertaken. 

If you have completed fewer than 30 semester hours, please also submit a secondary school transcript/school report.

There are two options for you to submit your transcripts:

  1. Unofficial Transcripts
    Should you seek a rapid admission decision, we invite you to submit unofficial transcripts. Your application will be evaluated based on these details. Should you receive a positive admission decision, you will be required to submit official transcripts as soon as they become available. Complete official transcripts, including all coursework in progress at the time of your admission, must be received before you begin courses at AUR.

    Please make sure that your unofficial transcripts are scanned at a legible quality. 

  2. Official Transcripts
    We strongly recommend that you send an official transcript for your application. This will expedite the credit transfer process once you confirm your intention to attend AUR.

    Submit official transcripts from your school or paper recommendation letters using the following address:
