Teaching positions open for Business and Tourism Management courses
The American University of Rome’s Business Administration and Travel and Tourism programs seek applications from qualified candidates for part-time, non-tenure-track Adjunct Faculty teaching opportunities in 2019, with possible additional courses in future semesters. Potential courses include Economics of Travel & Tourism, Research Methodology, Human Resource Management, Principles of Management, Consumer Behavior, Negotiations and Writing for Business.
The ideal candidate(s) will hold an advanced degree in quantitative methods, business, marketing, management or tourism management, as appropriate For the research-focused course, we seek candidates with proven teaching or work experience in the field, in order to be able to provide students with an overview of the research process, applications of sampling techniques and qualitative and quantitative data collection methods of primary data.
Recent teaching experience in the US higher education system is desirable. English fluency is mandatory; Mother tongue English preferred.
Adjunct faculty are expected to teach to the designated syllabus, provide support and guidance to students; and develop strategies to teach the course for the entire semester, using the course syllabus, objectives, and curriculum.
