Graduate students are eligible for Direct Unsubsidized and PLUS loans through this program. Our financial aid department is dedicated to counseling students through the entire process, from the application stage through the disbursement and management of these loans.

AmeriCorp benefits may be used for AUR's M.A. programs.
All Returned Peace Corps Volunteers admitted to AUR’s master’s degree programs receive a guaranteed partial scholarship.
As an U.S. accredited institution based in Italy, AUR is not eligible to participate in the Paul D. Coverdell Fellows Program. However, recognizing the depth of experience RPCVs bring to our programs, we acknowledge their contribution and service through our own Coverdell Matching Scholarship. There is no separate scholarship application, but the submission of a DOS (Description of Service) will be required in order to qualify.
The Anthropocene Scholarship
AUR is pleased to announce the launch of a new scholarship for the academic year 2020-21. The Anthropocene Scholarship, generously funded by an anonymous donor, will carry a value of EUR 2,500 that will be deducted from the tuition fees of a graduate student in the Food Studies program. The Scholarship will be awarded to a student based on need/merit, with preference given to European students. If there is no eligible European student, it can be awarded to any eligible student in the program. Find out more here.
AUR degree holders qualify for a 10% tuition alumni discount.
All candidates that have completed their M.A. application (submitted all required documents and paid their application fee) by February 1st will automatically be considered for this scholarship.
Decisions are based on criteria obtained from the admissions portfolio (all supporting documents and interviews). A separate application is not necessary for this scholarship.
Candidates seeking a scholarship are encouraged to submit a sample of their academic writing along with their admissions application. These can be sent via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Myllennium Award Scholarship
Prospective students of the M.A. in Food Studies have a fantastic opportunity for graduate study funding thanks to the Myllennium Award, the first multidisciplinary generational award in Italy addressed to Italian millennials. This initiative, made possible by the Raffaele Barletta Foundation, will make availabe one full tuition scholarship for a Master's degree in Food Studies. More information is available here.
Student Training Program
AUR also runs a Student Training Program for full-time graduate students. Students who apply for and are accepted to this program receive training in various areas of the university administration in exchange for a reduction in tuition (or Federal Loans if a student is using loans to cover tuition costs).
